
ARME-AIS — Air Insulated Modular Switchgear
Air insulated metal enclosed modular medium-voltage switchgear. Ten functional cell types, IAC-AFL internal arc classification, IP3X degree of protection.
The ARME-AIS series consists of four main compartments — busbar, cable connection, switching and low voltage. Compartments are separated and secured by mechanical interlocks: the cell door cannot be opened until the earthing switch is closed and the breaker and disconnectors are open. The independent busbar compartment is configured so that an incident in an adjacent panel does not affect it.
Short-circuit and internal arc tests were carried out in accredited laboratories in accordance with IEC 62271-200. The modular design allows sections to be extended without replacing existing equipment; service life is up to 10,000 switching operations. Ten cell types are available: incoming/outgoing with load break switch (YGC) or vacuum/SF6 circuit breaker (KGC, GGC), transformer protection (YST, KTK), bus coupling (KBB), metering (YAG, GGO), cable termination (KGB) and autorecloser cells (KOT).
