ArmAir is the manufacturer's answer to the EU roadmap for phasing out SF₆, a greenhouse gas with a global warming potential ~23,500 times higher than CO₂. Dry air serves as the insulation medium with vacuum interruption. This simplifies disposal, removes gas leak monitoring requirements and complies with upcoming environmental regulations.
The design retains the compact dimensions of gas-insulated equivalents and is intended for distribution networks, commercial and infrastructure facilities where the customer has carbon footprint requirements.
